The long-awaited Fancine returns to the summer nights of Muelle Uno!

This July, Wes Anderson’s most legendary films will be screened on Thursday nights from 22h with the Fancine. Can there be a better plan for the whole family?

If we love to enjoy a night with the best temperature… enjoying it with these films by the hand of the Festival de Cine Fantástico Universidad de Málaga makes us want x1000.

Will you watch it? The unmistakable symmetry and colour of Wes Anderson in the perfect setting for summer nights.

6th July: The Grand Budapest Hotel

13 July: Moonrise Kingdom

20 July: The Tenenbaums

27 July: Isle of Dogs

We’ll be waiting for you at the Plaza de Gerencia every Thursday at 22h!

The programme starts on the 6th of July by lighting up the big screen with “The Grand Budapest Hotel“, a comedy based on the adventures – and misadventures – of the concierge of a luxury hotel in interwar Europe, a film that won 4 Oscars and the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlinale in 2014.

The following week, on 12 July, the love story of two intrepid adventurers will not leave you indifferent. Travelling with the protagonists on the fictional island of New England will show you how social relationships are forged. Ready to see “Moonrise Kingdom“?

On 20 July, “The Tenebaums” will be shown, a film that with satire and humour tackles one of the most important issues in society: the family – and everything that goes with it. A film that will be a real hit!

Finally, we bid farewell to summer nights and cinema with “Isle of Dogs”, the perfect animation to reflect on such profound aspects as loyalty, friendship, the feeling of belonging to a group and love for animals.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached. The films will be screened in VOSE.
