Your hair matters more than you think π
This Sunday, 5 October, from 11:00 to 17:00, Muelle Uno will be filled with solidarity to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Mechones Solidarios Association.
This association works every day to bring smiles to people fighting cancer by making wigs from donated hair and supporting those who need it most.
On that day, with a simple gesture such as a charity haircut, make-up, hairstyling or massage, you can contribute to a cause that transforms the lives of many people. Because it’s not just about aesthetics, but about self-esteem and hope.
π There will be charity activities designed for the whole family, and most importantly, every participation helps to keep bringing smiles. There is no minimum length for a haircut, as you can cut a minimum amount and what matters is the donation that accompanies it.
If you would like to donate your hair, here are the conditions for donations:
It must be clean and dry before cutting.
It cannot be treated with henna.
If you would like your hair to be used to make a wig, it must be 30 centimetres long (this also applies to children).
Cut strands to the same length and in the same direction.
The hair can be of any type and treated with dyes, highlights, perms… although it is better if it is natural!
It does not matter if the hair is cut in layers. The longest strands are used.
Come and support this very special initiative.
