A small gesture can bring a big smile.

This Sunday, 4 October, Muelle Uno is once again teaming up with the Mechones Solidarios Association for a day dedicated to solidarity and supporting people battling cancer.

From 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, you can get involved in this initiative by having a charity haircut, make-up, styling or massage. Because behind every donation there is much more than just a lock of hair: there is self-esteem, confidence and hope.

If you’d like to donate your hair, here are the conditions:

• Your hair must be clean before cutting and completely dry.

• It must not have been treated with henna.

• To make a wig, the required length is 30 cm, including for children.

• The strands must be cut to the same length and in the same direction.

• It can be any hair type and may have been treated with dyes, highlights or perms, although natural hair is recommended.

• If you have layered hair, you can still donate it: the longest strands will be used.

Furthermore, there is no minimum length required to take part in the charity haircut: you can cut off as much as you like and make whatever donation you wish.
